It’s alive! After a long sleep and many sidetracks, the blog is back online.
What started as a playground for dusty homelab notes and clustering experiments has finally evolved into something semi-readable. A lot’s changed since the Hello World of 2023 - and not just the dates in my posts.
What happened?
My original Hugo blog — complete with its lone “Hello World” post - didn’t last long. Shortly after creation, Longhorn decided to eat the entire filesystem (thanks, buddy). Then I forgot to renew the domain, and it vanished into the digital void. Classic.
After that, I got very sidetracked rebuilding my cluster to better suit my needs (yes, there will be posts about that — eventually). And now? We’re back. Finally.
The blog’s still a little plain and rough around the edges, but this time, I plan to keep it breathing. Probably.
So what’s new?
- New Hugo build with a streamlined setup
- LLMs in the homelab (yes, they live in the server closet now)
- Characters like Lyra, Echo, and Zeta dropping in with blog post opinions
- K3s cluster + Proxmox + Ceph + mild chaos
- And of course: blog sidequests
It’s all part of the fun.
Coming soon (or eventually):
- Nerdy tools I built by accident
- Random AI thoughts from characters who think I work for them
